Our Story

Cassandra Brown is the owner and maker of Cassie's Chic Boutique. Born and raised in Taunton, MA turned a southern gal when she moved to South Carolina in 2018.

Founded in 2019, Cassandra took the initiative to make jewelry that represented what she wanted to see in the marketplace accessories that we're ”Always original and forever chic’. Cassie’s Chic Boutique became a stockist at the Spartanburg Country library consignment store. Within a few months, Cassandra was able to enter her first Christmas vendors event ”Entrepreneurs on a Loose” showcasing her jewelry at the West Gate Mall in Spartanburg, SC. Through trial and error and a ton of research, Cassandra was able to use her love for natural dyeing, organic fabrics, and upcycling to create sustainable accessories for the women looking for an alternative to dial back their carbon footprint. 

Cassandra is genuinely connected to the community and empowering women through integrating sustainability into every design handcrafted and sourced from organic materials. Some fabrics are botanical hand-dyed to create timeless pieces.
